NARMCI participates in rat & mouse rescue with Recycled Rodents!
“Recycled Rodents” is an informal network of AFRMA members who all participate in rescue. It is not sponsored or organized by AFRMA but instead each rescuer operates under their own guidelines and policies. Any AFRMA member in good standing may use the “Recycled Rodents” name, logo, and paperwork to help place rats and mice.We do ask that all rats and mice placed as “Recycled Rodents” be screened for health and temperament before being put up for adoption. Rescuers are also asked to fully inform potential adopters as to the particular animals situation, temperament, and health. Though the American Fancy Rat and Mouse Association is not a “rescue” organization, it does support and encourage those members who choose to participate in rescue. Look for “Recycled Rodents” at AFRMA So. Calif. shows, displays, and other events. NARMCI is one of those independant members doing rescue work here on the East Coast.
